| For the past month, the Huntingtown Volunteers have been drilling in an acquired house on Dalrympled Road. This past Saturday May 12, immediately following the Combat Challenge, the members boarded Engine 61, Engine 62, Squad 6, Tanker 6, Brush 6 & Ambulance 69 for the final drill. The drill began around 1300 hours and consisted of several interior burns. Following the interior burns, the house was lit and burned to the ground. Thanks to Dunkirk VFD Tanker 5 for attending the drill.
The Huntingtown VFD has 2 other donated houses in excellent condition. Drills in these houses will run from June-August.
