First Due House For Huntingtown Volunteers |

| Saturday April 7, 2012 at 0127 hours, Chief 6A (Montgomery), Chief 6B (Morris), Engine 61 (Gaylor), Squad 6 (Bowen, S), Tanker 6 (Osbourn, D) and Ambulance 68 (Paiva) were alerted for the House Fire at 3465 Solomons Island Road in Huntingtown, MD. With units enroute, Communications advised that police were on the scene with fire showing. Minutes later units from the Huntingtown VFD arrived on location with fire showing from a one-story brick rambler (on a basement). Engine 61 deployed their 200' attack line and found an outside fire that had extended into the basement and 1st floor of the residence. The fire was quickly knocked down and remaining units assisted with overhaul and checking for extension. Crews from the Huntingtown VFD operated on the scene until 0322 hours.
