| It brings great sadness to announce the passing of Charter Member & Past Vice President of the Huntingtown VFD Ladies Auxiliary, Billie Myers Cox at the young age of 75 years. Born January 8, 1937, Mrs. Cox was an instrumental part in the foundation of the Ladies Auxiliary in the early 1970's and was elected as the 1st Vice President. Mrs. Cox passed away surrounded by her husband and several other family members at Calvert Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Cox is survived by several other Instrumental Huntingtown VFD Members:
Her Husband, Clinton Cox Sr (also a Charter Member)
Her Son, Clinton Cox Jr (Past Chief & Charter Member)
Her Son, Terry Cox (Past Chief Officer)
Her Grandson, (past Lieutenant) Danny Cox
Arrangements are as follows:
Viewing: Friday February 10 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Rausch Funeral Home; Owings, MD.
Funeral: Saturday February 11 at 11 am at Rausch Funeral Home with burial following at Southern Maryland Memorial Gardens; Dunkirk, MD. Celebration of Life immediately following at the Huntingtown Volunteer Fire Department & Rescue Squad. |
