| What normally lasts for one week across the nation, lasted a few weeks for the Huntingtown Volunteers. Due to so many scheduled visits, it would have been impossible to complete in one week. This month, the members of Huntingtown visited approximately 15 facilities in Huntingtown (schools, daycares, etc) and educated approximately over 1,000 children and adults in fire safety/prevention. This was only possible due to dozens of the members of our department who were able to assist. The members of the Huntingtown VFD are always willing to visit the community and the citizens we protect. |
