| Tuesday October 11, 2011 at 0146 hours, Chief 6A (Montgomery), Engine 61 (Smith) and Tanker 6 (Gaylor) were alerted for the building fire at 6900 Hallowing Lane; the historic Country Dock Restaurant. First arriving units from the Prince Frederick VFD arrived on location with an abandoned building 100% involved. Units immediately went to heavy-duty exterior operations due to the amount of fire and stability of the building. Engine 62's crew manned one heavy-duty line on the exterior. Units drafted from the Patuxent River (building sits right alongside the river) for steady water supply. Units from the Huntingtown VFD remained on the scene for one hour. This is the second fire for the Huntingtown Volunteers in 24 hours; both being at historic restaurant's. The first existed on October 10th at Abner's Crab House.
