| Monday October 10, 2011 at 0326 hours, Chief 6 as the North Side Duty Chief (Riffe), Engine 62 (Ward), and Tanker 6 (Sgt Clark) were alerted for the building fire at Abners Crab House; 3748 Harbor Road. First arriving units from the North Beach VFD arrived on location reporting heavy fire showing from the 2 story building. The Working Fire Dispatch was sounded bringing Squad 6 (Stewart) and Ambulance 69 (Sgt Fitzgerald) to the fire ground. Crews immediately went to work and made an aggressive knock on the interior fire that had spread through out the 2nd floor and thru the roof. Engine 62's crew assisted units on the 2nd floor with extinguishing the fire and overhaul. Units from the Huntingtown VFD remained on scene until 0614 hours.
