Friday March 4, 2010 at 1441 hours, Chief 6 (Riffe), Chief 6B (Thrasher), Engine 62 (Lt Grierson) and Car 6 (Smith), with a total of 12 Huntingtown Volunteers were alerted for the house fire at 3307 Cox Road (3rd due). First arriving units arrived on location with smoke showing from a 1 story wood-frame house. Crews inside found the kitchen on fire with extension into the attic. Engine 62's 7 man crew arrived on the scene and assisted units with opening up and checking for extension. Fortunately the fire was quickly knocked down. Remaining Huntingtown units operated until 1557 hours.
