Shortly before midnight struck on Saturday November 2, 2007, the Huntingtown Volunteers were alerted for the auto accident at Route 4 and Cox Road. Chief 6 (Riffe), Chief 6B (Montgomery), Squad 6 (Cox, C), Engine 62 (Sgt Kerns), A-69 (Morgan), and A-68 (Stewart) quickly responded. Communications received supplemental information advising the accident was serious and added the Medic Unit. Huntingtown units arrived to find a single-vehicle that had rolled several times. The driver was out of the vehicle and unconscious. Crews quickly went to work packaging and stabilizing the patient who was flown to PG Shock Trauma.
Two hours later shortly after 0200 hours, the Huntingtown Volunteers were back out the door for the auto accident at Huntingtown Road and Stone Drive. Chief 6B (Montgomery), Captain 6 (Patin), Squad 6 (Cox, C), Engine 62 (Sgt Kerns), and Ambulance 69 (Morgan) arrived to find a single-vehicle overturned. The driver (non-life threatening injuries) was transported to Calvert Memorial Hospital.
