While members of the Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department mourned the loss of Sergeant Nolan Scully, the Huntingtown Volunteers provided Engine 61 for coverage during the memorial services.

At 0550, on Friday February 10th, Saint Mary's Fire Board dispatched the garage fire at 24740 Nelson Hill Way in Hollywood. This assignment brought Engine 61 (Lt. Jeffery), with 5 personnel, as Engine Co.7. Engine 61 and Truck 27 arrived to find fire showing from the attic of an attached garage. Engine 61 advanced an attack line, and established the Hollywood command, until the arrival of Chief 7A (Riley). Crews found an auto fire in the garage, with extension to the attic, and extinguished the same. Units from Huntingtown and Hollywood remained on the scene for several hours assisting the Fire Marshal's Office.
