Rescue Squad 6 Special-Alarmed to Saw Mill/Lumber Yard Fire in Charles County

Thursday June 6, 2013, units from Charles, Prince George's & Calvert County were alerted for the building fire at 5969 Brandywine Road in Charles County. Firefighters arrived on location and found a saw mill & lumber yard heavily involved with fire, as well as several piles of mulch. Shortly after arrival, Rescue Squad 6 (Cox, D) with 5 men, was special-alarmed to the incident at 1446 hours. Rescue Squad 6 arrived on location and went to work assisting crews with the tedious overhaul operations. Two hours later, the Rescue Squad returned to service.
