| Tuesday January 24, 2012 at 2059 hours, Chief 6A (Montgomery), Chief 6B (Morris), Lieutenant 6 (Clark), Squad 6 (Sgt Montgomery), Engine 62 (Gaylor), Ambulance 68 (Stewart, L) and Ambulance 69 (Morgal, H) were alerted for the serious auto accident at Route 4 and Ponds Wood Road. The 21 Huntingtown Volunteers arrived on location and found a 2 vehicle accident with one person trapped in a mini-van. The crew from Squad 6 went to work with the HURST tools and extricated the trapped driver by removing both front doors, removing the windshield and flapping the roof. Engine 62's crew stood by with a charged handline. Dunkirk Squad 5 handled the Landing Zone as one patient was flown to Baltimore Shock Trauma. Units from the Huntingtown VFD operated on the scene until 2133 hours.
